The Spanish railway company Renfe has obtained the AENOR certificate against COVID-19 for the transport of passengers for all its AVE, Intercity, Euromed and Alvia trains.
The protocols evaluated contemplate all the moments in which the traveler comes into contact with the train services. These anti-COVID protocols established by Renfe are in line with the Particular Regulations developed by AENOR, and take into account the recommendations and requirements of different national and international organizations. This certification is part of the Safty program designed by Renfe, to guarantee its services with the highest hygienic-sanitary , and with the purpose of offering travelers maximum confidence when they traveling.
Travel safely on the train:
During the train journey, the use of masks is mandatory . Food services are not provided on the train. Renfe will distribute disinfecting wipes to its passengers on board and has reinforced hygiene and disinfection measures on all its trains.
